Pretend Paper (hifi) Reviews |
Geraldine Quinn's third night of the festival was well attended. It seems she's a sought-after ticket following her popular Melbourne International Comedy Festival show last year. Ms Quinn is a star performer and fills up the room with her amazing voice. She belts and murmurs and wails and even does an impeccable Sarah Blasko impression. Her lyrics are varied and often edgy - I guess there's almost something to offend everyone. I loved the one about looking like David Bowie's love child but found some of the other song's lyrics a bit naff. I look forward to seeing further shows from Geraldine Quinn and feel a stinging regret I didn't see her previous ones.
